Setting Up Notifications on the Tender Platform

Setting up notifications correctly on a tender platform is extremely important because it ensures you receive timely updates, helping you meet deadlines, stay informed of changes, and act promptly, reducing the risk of missed opportunities.

How to Update Your Notification Settings:

To update your basic notification preferences and receive daily or weekly email updates, follow these steps:

Go to "Notification Settings", access this option through the drop-down menu or the dashboard.

From Manage Notifications page you can customise your regions, opportunity types, business categories and saved search profiles.

Consolidate My Notifications: (For Premium Subscribers): Consolidated Tenders Premium subscribers receive a single notification for all sites. To switch between consolidated and individual site notifications, turn the alert slider on (blue means ON) or off.

Region Preferences: Choose the regions you want to receive updates for. Once selected, click "Save" to apply changes.

Opportunity Types: Select the types of opportunities you want notifications for. These will include new opportunities, news, and more. Unchecked options will not appear in your daily/weekly notifications. Once selected, click "Save" to apply changes.

Business Categories: These Categories are derived from top-level UNSPSC categories, ensuring broad coverage to capture all relevant opportunities. Once selected, click "Save" to apply changes. You can enable or disable specific categories anytime. When active, the alert slider will be blue (ON).

Saved Search Profiles: To customise your notifications based on keywords or phrases, use the keyword section and type in words separated by a single space, or a phrase surrounded by double quotes. This will include any opportunities with your given keyword or phrase in the results.

Once you click on "Options", the below pop-up will appear, then click on "Create New Profile".

After performing a search, click “Save” at the top-right of the results screen.

Once you save your search name, then click "Receive Notifications" for daily/weekly email updates.

To manage your saved searches, click on "Manage Search Profiles" button. From here you can turn your alerts on/off and delete the searches.

Subscribed Opportunity Updates: You can manage alerts for subscribed tenders, turning them on or off. You can also see closed tenders from your subscriptions. Don’t forget to click “Save” once changes are made.

Advanced Settings: Control the emails you receive from the Consolidated Tenders platform.

  • Receive Transactional Emails: Manage settings for transactional emails. These are the notification and confirmation emails as a result of activities you have performed on this platform or directly related to your account.
  • Receive Marketing Emails: Enable this option to receive promotional content by turning the alert slider on (blue means ON).
